What This Service Actually Involves

Every house has one: the room over the garage, the finished basement corner, the four-season porch — the space your main system was never ducted to handle. A ductless mini-split solves exactly that. One compact outdoor unit, one quiet indoor head, and that room finally holds the temperature you set, summer and winter.

We install Bryant ductless systems as a factory-authorized dealer, sized and placed for the way the room actually gets used. One thing we'll tell you straight, because it's the shop's rule: a mini-split is supplemental comfort. It supplements the room; your furnace stays the primary source of heat for the house. Used that way, it's one of the most satisfying upgrades we install.

  • Room-by-room assessment — the right capacity and head placement
  • Bryant ductless equipment — installed with clean, tidy line-set routing
  • Heating AND cooling from the same unit, with quiet operation
  • Service and support after — same number, same crew

“My furnace went out and I called them at 8pm. The service tech (Tyler) came out to try and get it up and running again… He ran me through my options for my almost 30 year old furnace and was straight forward and honest with me… Both Mitch and Tyler offered to loan me space heaters to keep my family warm… They’re honest, straight forward, and very professional. I WILL be recommending them every chance I get!”

“My wife and I are so very happy with Merrill Sheet Metal Works!! On time to the minute, absolutely wonderful Bryant Furnace Installation work. It felt like my family was installing my furnace. Total Care! Our home is Safe and Warm!”

“We called to get an estimate on getting a whole home humidifier install and they were able to have someone come out the next day… Installation went great and the guys let us know what they were doing the whole time and cleaned up after themselves. They went above and beyond and provided great customer service from our first phone call, through the process, and a follow up phone call after the work was complete.”

“Outstanding service, 3 person crew was professional and polite. Crew was thorough and not afraid to answer any questions. Once our central air conditioner was installed and operational they were great with explaining our new thermostat and functions of it and the unit.”

Questions We Hear About Ductless Mini-Splits

Can a mini-split heat a room through a Wisconsin winter?

Modern cold-climate units perform impressively well below zero — as supplemental heat. Per the shop's rule, your furnace remains the primary heat source; the mini-split keeps its one space comfortable without asking the whole system to compensate.

Do mini-splits cool too?

Yes — that's half the appeal. The same unit that warms the bonus room in January dehumidifies and cools it in July, quietly and efficiently.

Where does the equipment go?

A slim outdoor unit sits on a pad or brackets, a compact indoor head mounts high on the wall, and a small line set connects them through one modest opening. No ductwork, minimal disruption.

How loud are they?

Quiet is the honest answer — indoor heads run at a hush most people stop noticing the first week. If a window unit drove you crazy, this is the opposite experience.
