WHY CHOOSE MERRILL SHEET METAL WORKS?
Our company is family-owned and operated with more than a century of experience in serving North Central Wisconsin for heating, cooling, and now hearth product needs. Our philosophy is based on traditions passed down from our grandfather like how to treat people and conduct business. The tradition started before the current owner, Kurt, began working at the company in high school. At the time, he didn’t think this business would be his career. After graduating and attending college to become a teacher, Kurt realized that the heating and cooling profession was his true passion. He returned home and resumed working with his dad, Mike. He earned EPA and HVAC certifications, and that spirit of ongoing training continues with the company’s technicians today. As his grandfather always said, things have to be done right and the company’s investment in training shows that commitment to doing things the right way.
ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
As mentioned earlier, Merrill Sheet Metal Works invests in continuous employee training. Many of our technicians are NATE-Certified, having completed rigorous industry testing through the North American Technician Excellence. Many are EPA certified, ensuring the proper codes and regulations are met. We also have accreditation from the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) for the construction and maintenance of chimneys and venting systems. In addition, our staff has gas and wood hearth industry certifications, so you know our installations and repairs are performed properly.
